laurajanep20162022-08-22Lots of visits here recently Recently moved to the area, been a number of times and love going here for lunch or Sunday dinner. Really good service, however we do have to ask for the bill at the bar each time.Highly recommend the Turkey roast, however each time we’ve had the roast the potatoes are dry and hard to cut. But everything else was lovely. We love the pate & the sea bass is to die for. Had the prawn cocktail yesterday and wasn’t as good as the other starters I’ve had. Thanks for having us and I hope this feedback is helpful.TheChafer2022-07-09Saturday lunch x 3 Great place to visit. Really great service from the moment we walked in. We searched and this popped up with a review saying ‘it never fails to deliver’ and we agree! It was just off the highway yet as soon as we turned in, it was delightful to be in a country park. The staff were welcoming and efficient and offered us a choice of tables (it was early, so am not sure we would have been so lucky later on!). Good selection on the menu. Service was quick and friendly. Food tasty and good value.SarahWrt2022-03-28Above and Beyond! I bought my mum in for a Mother’s Day meal and everything was absolutely spot on!The service, as always, was welcoming and polite - checking we were happy throughout. The food was just amazing! I come here regularly and it has never disappointed. You could tell the pub was really busy, but it didn’t affect the quality of the service or the food. We both had the lamb croquettes to start, I had the trio meat roast and mum had goats cheese, spinach and mushroom Wellington - both were delicious! As it was a special occasion we managed to squeeze in pudding. I had the Parma violet gin cheese cake and mum had lemon meringue tart… well we actually went 50/50 because they both looked (and tasted) amazing! To top the visit off, my mum was gifted a lovely little plant for Mother’s Day! Such a kind gesture. Thank you to the Celtic arms for making it such a special Mother’s Day… especially after the last 2 years!lindasX352GB2022-03-28What a wonderful time we had on Mothers day at this gorgous restaurant Thank you for the wonderful time we had yesterday on Mothers day,the food was exceptional, and the staff could not have been more attentive.
